"When I thought about this album, the whole venture really, of putting together music that was supposed to describe life and stuff, the image of a tourist came to mind. I'm going through life, seeing all these joys and sorrows, emotions and stories, and then I sit down at the piano and try to tell them through music. And part of me feels like I never do them justice, but another part feels like the attempt contains a sort of beauty, like a Polaroid picture; not telling the whole story, but capturing a little glimpse of what it really means.
